Throughout my career, I have been a part of many websites. I have worked on both the business aspect and the programming side. While working on these various sites, I have learned many things. One of the most important things I’ve learned is to outsource what you don’t know.
What are the benefits of out sourcing?
1. You Save Time – I have spent many hours trying to design sites without any luck. Rather than struggle with the best colors and layout, I would rather find someone to design a site for me.
2. You Save Money – Most of the time you can find people willing to work for cheap. Since I have no artistic abilities, I found a guy to create me a unique wordpress theme for under $100. It would have taken me months to create a similar theme.
3. You Get Quality – The purpose of outsourcing is to get someone that is knowledgeable in a specific area that you may not be. Presumably, you should find that will provide you with quality work because that person will hopefully take pride in their work.
4. You Can Concentrate On What You Do Best – By outsourcing tasks, you get to spend more time on what you do best. Instead of wasting my time trying to design a site, I spent it writing content, programming & making money.
As a blogger, you can outsource many areas of your site including: design, content writing, SEO, comment moderation, link building, and much more.
There is one draw back to outsourcing and that is you have to pay for it. Most of the time, the pros out way the cons and it will only benefit you. Make sure you do your research before you hire someone so you get good quality for the best price.
