Keywords

Coming up with keywords for your posts or articles is an important part to search engine optimization. If done right, it can make your site easier to find for search engines and searches.

In this post, I’ll inform you on how to select your keywords.

I think of 1-3 keywords for each post/article I write. The keyword(s) are related to what is in my content or site and are unique and creative.

I suggest when you are picking your keywords, you should first consider your target audience. Generate your keywords by thinking about why people visit your site and what they want to gain from your site. Write these keywords down and use them for your posts.

You should also think about what keywords people could type into search engines. Jot them down and then use these in your content. Your article will then come up when people search on these keyword phrases.

Also, you should pick non-competitive keywords. For example, “Making Money Online” is a competitive keyword phrase. Thousands of people try to optimize there sites with this keyword. Pick non-competitive keywords for your site!

After you have picked your keywords, use them throughout your content. Do not go over board! Use them where they make sense!

You should also use these keywords in your page title and in your meta descriptions.

It takes a while to know how to pick the correct keywords for you posts/articles. It is difficult to have a lot of success the first time you try, so don’t get discouraged. Don’t be afraid to try new things when you insert keywords into your content, title and meta description. If you create keywords that are unique and original then sooner or later you will find success.
