Before I post When Writing Web Content – Part 2, I wanted to talk about a topic that I see happen a lot. Website owners are in a rush to make money off their site and because of this they market their site before it is even finished.
My advice to blog/website owners is to finish creating your site before you begin marketing it to other sites or businesses.
Now I am not saynig that you can’t make the site live on the net. What I am saying is you should have basic functionality (Search, Login, etc), basic pages (Contact Us, About, Advertising), and broken links all functioning correctly before you go live with your site.
If you are using blogging software, functionality will not be an issue for you but make sure you finish the pages and check that all links are working.
I feel that a good foundation makes you site more attractive to the general public, businesses, advertisers, and sponsors. Finishing your site will draw more traffic to your site, make it easier to market, and in the end, make you more money.

I always go through a finally check to see if things are working correctly. I sometimes get a friend to cick on links too to see if I have missed anything.
I am kind of curious myself about your site here because I don’t see any banners on your sidebat both in IE or firefox.
